What We Do
To say the ARPOA maintains the 3 miles of road in the subdivision is a bit of an oversimplification. As you may have guessed, the extremes of winter with plowing sometimes required daily, the so-called "mud month" of April when things are thawing out, and the heavy use in the summer can take its toll on the gravel roadways. Every spring roads are graded and gravel added where needed and as funds permit. During summer dust is always a problem on gravel roads. A dust abatement product is applied when needed to provide a more pleasant environment for guests and residents.
Fees were increased this year as gravel prices have increased substantially. Residents are encouraged to report potholes and other problems so repairs can be made. Please remove/spray weeds on your property and cut tree limbs encroaching on the roadway. Drive slowly and avoid jackrabbit starts that can dig holes in the roads. Report visibility issues at intersections and downed street signs. Thank you for your cooperation.
In 2025 the membership voted to move the payment of snow removal to the board and all funds in the snow removal account were moved into the general ARPOA fund. The board will continue to asses the annual dues to make sure it is sufficient to covers summer and winter care of roads.
